HI, I'M KAIGAN.

I'm a doctoral researcher, studying prison officer culture and wellbeing. I am passionate about prison reform on the whole but I have a deep interest in the prison officer.

 

I host the Evolving Prisons podcast where I speak to people around the world with experience of prison in some capacity to educate the public on what really happens in prison, with a focus on growth and transformation.

 

I spent a number of years working in the criminal justice system in several countries. From working in a court, to working in a specialist sex offences unit of the Office of Public Prosecutions and subsequently working as an investigator. I even taught crime scene skills at an American summer camp in-between. I have a great passion for criminal justice.
